Span 100: Elementary Spanish I Vivir en las Fronteras

Roman Sanchez-Dominquez · Imperial Valley College

The beginning Spanish course is based on a contrastive analysis between Spanish and English and is designed to develop in the English-speaking student rudimentary abilities in the four basic language skills: hearing, speaking, reading, and writing. The main emphasis is on the present tense of both regular and irregular verbs. The student will be familiarized with those features of Hispanic culture through authentic language and cultural products.
