Elementary Number Theory
Wissam Raji · American University of Beirut
The notes contain a useful introduction to important topics that need to be addressed in a course in number theory. Proofs of basic theorems are presented in an interesting and comprehensive way that can be read and understood even by non-majors with the exception in the last three chapters where a background in analysis, measure theory and abstract algebra is required. The exercises are carefully chosen to broaden the understanding of the concepts.

Beyond Dichotomy - Synergizing Writing Center and Classroom Pedagogies
Steven J. Corbett · George Mason University
How closely can or should writing centers and writing classrooms collaborate? Beyond Dichotomy explores how research on peer tutoring one-to-one and in small groups can inform our work with students in writing centers and other tutoring programs, as well as in writing courses and classrooms. These multi-method (including rhetorical and discourse analyses and ethnographic and case-study) investigations center on several course-based tutoring (CBT) partnerships at two universities.
