Cerro Coso Community College: Care and Education of Infants and Toddlers
Frank Guevara, Barbara Edwards, Linda Eberhardt & Vivian Baker · Cerro Corso Community College
This is a remixed text of Infant and Toddler Care and Development 2e, for use at Cerro Coso Community College for the course CHDV C205: In this course, students learn to apply current theory and research to the care and education of infants and toddlers in group settings. The course examines essential policies, principles, and practices that lead to quality care and developmentally appropriate curriculum for children from birth to 36 months. Students are required to observe infants and/or toddle

Street-Fighting Mathematics
Sanjoy Mahajan · Olin College of Engineering
An antidote to mathematical rigor mortis, teaching how to guess answers without needing a proof or an exact calculation. In problem solving, as in street fighting, rules are for fools: do whatever works—don't just stand there! Yet we often fear an unjustified leap even though it may land us on a correct result. Traditional mathematics teaching is largely about solving exactly stated problems exactly, yet life often hands us partly defined problems needing only moderately accurate solutions.

Acoustics
Wikipedia · LibreTexts
Acoustics is the science that studies sound, in particular its production, transmission, and effects. The science of acoustics has many applications which are dependent upon the nature of the sound that is to be produced, transmitted or controlled. In the case of a desirable sound, such as music, the main application of acoustics is to make the music sound as good as possible.

Vector Calculus
Michael Corral · Schoolcraft College
The term "vector calculus" is sometimes used as a synonym for the broader subject of multivariable calculus. Vector calculus is concerned with differentiation and integration of vector fields, primarily in 3-dimensional Euclidean space. The content in this Textmap is complemented by Vector Calculus Modules in the Core and the Vector Calculus (UCD Mat 21D) Libretext.
