Africana Studies
Africana Studies is an interdisciplinary field that critically examines the history, culture, and experiences of African-descended people globally, including Africa, the Americas, and Europe. Originating from 1960s activism, its purpose is to challenge Eurocentric narratives, diversify higher education curricula, and analyze Black life across the diaspora.
